Sabrina Carpenter, a US singer and actress, has debuted in the Skims spring collection with a 90s-inspired campaign. The campaign features Carpenter, who is 24 years old, posing for British photographer Jack Bridgland. This comes after she finished opening for Taylor Swift’s Eras tour.
The sultry spring collection has garnered attention, including a comment from her rumored boyfriend, Oscar-nominated Irish actor Barry Keoghan, who reacted with a fire symbol and the words “barbie emoji” to a picture of her modeling a pink underwear set. The campaign is set to launch on Wednesday at 9am Pacific Time and 12pm Eastern Time. Carpenter, who has previously starred in Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty’s fashion show in 2021, joins a list of famous faces who have modeled for Kim Kardashian’s lifestyle brand, including Lana Del Rey, Nelly Furtado, Cardi B, Kim Cattrall, and Usher.
The campaign showcases Carpenter in a bedroom setting filled with band posters, stacks of CDs, a landline telephone, and nostalgic floral curtains, capturing the essence of the 90s.
